With eBridge, it's not all about the paper. 

eBridge makes it easy for you to scan and store your paper documents, but some of your most critical information may already be digital. For that data, we provide a set of utilities to seamlessly integrate 3rd-party PC applications and files with your eBridge hosted services.

The Print Driver allows users to "print" electronic documents — such as forms, e-mails, web pages or other common desktop applications - directly into eBridge's hosted document management system. Instead of printing and scanning your files, any document you can print to paper can be "virtually printed" directly into your eBridge filing cabinet and indexed for the same level of precision search and retrieval as all of your scanned documents.

The eLink Utility allows you to use specific information from 3rd-party software to conduct searches within your web-based document management service. Simply select data - such as customer numbers, addresses, and phone numbers - from within a non-eBridge document, and with one keystroke, you'll be able to retrieve all eBridge files containing that information in any of your indices. It's great for quickly and easily retrieving information from your primary business applications, such as billing or customer management software. You don't need to toggle back and forth or cut and paste to retrieve information - eLink does all the work for you.

Already outsourcing your document scanning?

If your business already relies on an outside scanning bureau or document services provider to convert and archive your paper files, eBridge can complement their services and add significant functionality when accessing those archived files. Many digital document or scanning service providers scan to digital and then return the files on a hard disk or CD / DVD to their clients. Not only is this a fairly clumsy manner of handling the files, it also introduces an element of risk since these files are often unencrypted. Some clients add these disks to their in-house servers, but often, they just collect dust.

Now, you can simply have your scanning services partner capture those documents in eBridge. Not only will they be protected from the start, but they will be accessible 24/7. Since eBridge does not charge a per-user fee, you can add your scanning vendor to the system at no cost to you, and through our user controls, configure them to only capture files without giving them access to retrieve, delete or share any of your information.
