eBridge Ranks Among Tampa’s Best Places to Work
eBridge named 4th best “nearly big” business.
April 22, 2011— For the second year in a row, eBridge Inc.
has been ranked among the best business to work in Tampa. The company was named
the 4th best company in the “nearly big” category of the Tampa Bay Business
Journal’s (TBBJ) “Best Places to Work” competition. This year,
there were 57 finalist companies that were divided among four categories based on
the number of employees. The “nearly big” category featured 24 finalists,
all of whom have 25 or fewer employees.
Companies were nominated by employees, who were then asked to take anonymous online
surveys conducted online by Quantum Company. Here, they answered questions ranging
from the level of team effectiveness and trust among coworkers to how valued they
felt and how the company treats their employees overall.
eBridge was noted for its great benefits packages, its close-knit and collaborative
environment, and an open-door policy that encourages employees to freely communicate
with management and with one another. In addition, the company moved from its former
location to a GREENTampa!-designated building in July 2010, where the staff enjoys
such perks as a fitness center, stocked break room, and other amenities designed
to keep employees motivated and productive. The move was also designed to take an
existing building within Tampa and refurbish it as a way of revitalizing and continuing
to improve the area.
“We’re committed to giving our employees the tools they need to succeed
and to create a great place to work within our community,” said Leslie Haywood,
CEO of eBridge. “Our motto is work hard, play hard – and this year,
we’ll all be working hard to get to Number 1!”
The 2011 “Best Places toWork” ceremony was held at the Lowry Park Zoo
on April 21, 2011.
